So, It's been tough to get stuff done recently. Partly because I now have a full-time job because of the divorce, partly because the divorce still has me a little depressed now and again, and partly because I have someone new (and awesome!!) in my life, but I've been spending a lot of time with them.

(Man, not living with your significant other is... inconvenient.)

I did get my license recently, which is good! and I'm trying to figure out how to schedule my life together. But sometimes it's hard to stay motivated with everything that's happening and has happened. I feel like sometimes when one major thing in your life changes, you start to question everything you've been doing up to that point.

Anyway, this is mostly to account for my recent absence. I'm trying to get back in the game, both with AR & Moon Senshi (and submitting BK to people) but it's been pretty hard with the job and social life interfering.

So, I'm pretty excited about Angry Remembrance for a couple reasons. The main reason is that Angry Remembrance is currently in the top 5 on top web fiction (on the weekly charts.) People are reading my story! And voting for my story!! Yay!! :D I now have at least one regular commenter who I don't know, too, which is cool.

The other exciting thing is that John bought me a week of advertising on Gunnerkrigg Court via Project Wonderful, which is getting me a ton of hits. The advertising is a bit more expensive there than other places, but I think it's worth it not just because GC has so many readers but also because those readers are likely to enjoy Angry Remembrance (they're both urban fantasy-ish serials dealing with magic and culture heroes.)

hamburgerclub is also making me another illustration of Wren, which I'm going to use as my gravatar. Later, if I start getting more comments, we might sell Angry Remembrance T-shirts together. That would be awesome. I know I'd be all about having Wren plastered on my boobs.

I don't usually talk about political/religious stuff on LJ, but I feel like this is the kind of thing anyone with a conscience can get on board with, so--I am today!

That's right! I've completely re-vamped the website. Not only is the layout 200% less 1999, there's updated, expanded, and brand-new character profiles, new images in the image galleries, and new info sections on various fanon elements unique to the Moon Senshi-verse. Check it out if you like future!fic, HeliosxChibi-Usa, or things which are ungodly nerdy.

Also, in case anyone who hasn't read it is wondering, Moon Senshi is not evil!Neo Queen Serenity fic. Yes, Crystal Tokyo isn't the utopia that the manga seems to make it out to be--but it's not doom and gloom station, either. Even if she's not a perfect ruler, Neo Queen Serenity's intentions are always pure.
